5K COURSE MAP
The 5K course features a quick jaunt out and back on Pacific Coast Highway. Enjoy the views of the beach as you run north on PCH before making the turn south to finish back at the world-famous Huntington Beach Pier!

AID STATIONS
Please find the approximate aid station locations below:
Mile 2
Water and Ghost Hydration Strawberry Kiwi and Lemon Crush will be provided at all aid stations along the course.
GEAR CHECK
Gear check will be available for all 5K participants. Gear check will be located in the second level of the parking lot adjacent to the Huntington Beach Pier Plaza.
Clear, plastic bags, will be available at Packet Pick-up for use at the Gear Check tent. All items must be placed in this clear bag. Please attach the gear check tag on your bib to your clear plastic bag using the provided cable ties.
Gear check will open to drop off bags at 5:30am and all items must be retrieved no later than 10:30am. Please do not check valuables. Gear is checked at your own risk. The race is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged bags.
POST-RACE BEER GARDEN
All 5K participants aged 21 years of age or older receive (1) complimentary beer following the race. The Post-Race Beer Garden will be held in the Race Expo from 7:30am – 10:30am. All friends and family (21+ years or older) are welcome to attend. Additional beer will be available for purchase.
COURSE TIME LIMIT
All 5K participants must complete the race in under 75 minutes. Participants falling behind this pace will be moved ahead to finish the race.
AWARDS
The top 3 male and female finishers in the 5K will receive an overall award.
The top male and female finisher in each age group in the 5K will receive an award. Please see the age groups below:
14 & Under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Awards will not be available on-site after the race and will be mailed. Results will be made official two weeks after the event.
All courses start and finish on Pacific Coast Highway at Main Street in front of Pier Plaza.
